Will Apple macOS Catalina launch on September 24?

macos catalina

The Cupertino company has the litmus test this week in terms of both software and hardware releases. In this case, what we are clear at least right now is that macOS Catalina will take a little longer to launch than the rest of OS from Apple, iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and iPadOS.

At Apple they almost always release the beta versions on different days although it is true that some weeks we have seen the full beta versions, for both Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV. In the keynote they already warned that the macOS Catalina version would be released in the fall, but they did not add a date to its launch.

Why could Apple launch the new macOS Catalina on September 24?

Well, we are not relying on rumors, leaks or anything like that this time. Simply that last year the company of the bitten apple officially released the current macOS Mojave on September 24, 2018 and this year it coincides on a Tuesday, a few days after the release of the versions for the rest of the devices and we have not seen new beta versions this week -at least for now-.

In any case, the important thing is that this new version is released without major bugs in the system and it seems that they are in it. On the other hand, it is true that the beta versions released to date do not present too many bugs or problems that may prevent an imminent release of the final version, but it will be necessary to be aware of this. Maybe on September 24 of this year we will have the GM (Golden Master) version and for the next the official version or maybe not ... What do you think?
