Apple reaches an agreement with the director of several Fast and Furious films

In recent weeks, we have seen how movements related to Apple's streaming video service They have increased. A few days ago, we informed you about the latest signing of Tamara Hunter, sourced from Sony Pictures and the agreement they had reached with JJ Abrams to create a dramatic mini-series with Jennifer Gartner.

Today it is the turn of another news also related to the series that we can enjoy in this new VOD service. According to Variety magazine, Apple has reached an agreement with the production company Perfect Storm Entertainment, behind which is Justin Lin, director of several films in the Fast and Furious saga.

But Justin Lin is not only known for having directed some films of this hit franchise that almost fell into oblivion a few years ago after the second installment, but also has also collaborated in Star Trek: Beyond and has worked on some episodes of the series Community y true detective

Lin has reached an exclusivity agreement with Apple after having worked for Sony Pictures TV the last six years, collaborating in the series Scorpion, SWAT y Magnum PI (the new remake of the hit series from the 80s).

As is usual in this type of agreement, at the moment we do not have more details about what the plans of both Lim and Apple will be after signing the agreement, so we will have to wait a few months to see where they are directing their efforts.

If we pay attention to the information published by The Wall Street Journal a few months ago, Apple's video streaming service could see the light of day in March of next year, and initially it would be completely free for all users of an Apple device.
