Since the Apple Watch hit the market in 2015, it has become the benchmark to follow, despite not be the first to hit the market, an honor that falls on the defunct Pebble, a company that could not adapt to the color screen market and that ended up being bought by Fitbit, a company that Google acquired last year.

Since 2015, Apple has launched a new Apple Watch on the market and we are currently in the 6 series, one of the best smartwatches on the market, at least for iOS, since the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, offers us the same functions of oxygen in blood and ECG for the Android ecosystem.

If we talk about sales of the Apple Watch, we have to talk, unfortunately, of estimates, since Apple has never officially announced the sales that this device has had. According to the IDC firm (via MacRumors), during the last quarter, the corresponding from July to September, Apple has shipped 11.8 million Apple Watch, which represents an increase of 75% compared to the same period of the previous year, where shipments were at 6.8 million.

A large part of the increase in sales is found in the Apple Watch Series 3 price reduction, a model that became the entry device to this range for just over 200 euros.

These 11.8 million units represents a rQuarterly sales record for Apple Watch, since according to the Statista firm, Apple had never exceeded 0 million models shipped in any other quarter.

Apple Watch market share according to IDC is 21.6% Worldwide, ranking second after Xiaomi, whose market share stands at 24,5%, its best-selling device being the Mi Band 5, a quantifying bracelet that costs just over 30 euros.
