It seems that the popular actor Richard Gere, could be the one chosen as protagonist of the Israeli series entitled Bastards. The Cupertino company would be in full negotiations with the well-known actor so that he would be the protagonist of the series that is currently being written by the creator of "Homeland", Howard Gordon, and the producer of "Law and Order: SVU", Warren Leight.
The company itself has not mentioned anything about it but some CNBC reports showing some of the details on Apple's next moves in creating its own content and Gere is on the list as a possible candidate for a lead role.
Apple continues to advance in this sector
Nobody could think a few years ago when talking about creating content in Apple that they would get to be placed in the current position competing with the rest of the big producers to implement good content among their users. Now at Apple they are truly focused on getting rights to many series and "Bastards" is one of them.
All this is rumors and wet papers if we take into account that all agreements have to be closed so that Apple keeps the rights, at any time everything can come to nothing and this popular series in which the protagonists are two very good friends veterans of the Vietnam War, it could come to nothing.
