WatchOS 3 Beta 7.4 Arrives for Developers

Apple Watch ceramics

This week we are seeing the arrival of beta versions of Apple software arrive in a phased manner. It is not usually the way in which the Cupertino company launches its beta versions but this week it is being and the latest to arrive is watchOS 3 beta version 7.4.

The novelties in this third beta are directly focused on the stability and security of the system, there are not too many functional changes in it and what we are all waiting for is that Apple officially launches it to be able to enjoy the unlocking of the iPhone with our mask on. This is the main novelty in a beta version that takes a few weeks of testing and seems to be quite stable in all its novelties.

Personally, those of you who know me already know that I am not to use beta versions beyond those of the Mac, but the option of unlocking the iPhone with the clock itself, which is basically what can also be done with the Mac, throws me a lot. I keep holding out without the beta version but those who already have a previous version installed simply have to update from Apple Watch preferences via OTA and voila, they will already have beta 3 installed.

What we do know is that with the beta versions for the Apple Watch, we must be very careful since a problem in it could leave our watch completely out of service. The logical thing is that this does not happen since we have been with public beta versions for a long time even on the watch and it seems to work fine, but keep in mind that the betas are trial versions and that they cannot always work 100% both in their functions and in the applications.
