The history of Apple was born in 1976. That year Steve Wozniak designed and built a personal computer with his own hands. A friend of his, one Steve Jobs, saw it, was fascinated, and convinced his colleague to make 200 units and sell them in a store.

From there the two friends began to work hard and founded a computer company called Apple. Thus was born one of the largest companies in the world. Now, a Boston auction house puts out a lot with one of those 200 computers. A complete kit of the Apple 1 fully operational. We will see how much they come to pay for it.

A fully functioning Apple 1 computer is going up for auction in Boston, where they are expected to bid $ 300.000 for it. The batch is titled "Apple-1 Fully functional Apple computer with a Synertek C6502 CPU." The description of said lot says the following:

Exceptional and fully functional Apple 1 (also commonly known as Apple I or Apple Computer 1), complete with all its components and accessories necessary for its operation. This Apple-1 computer was purchased by SoftWarehouse, a computer store in Western Michigan, in the 80s as part of a trade for a newer IBM machine. It was later displayed in store in a custom-built museum-style home before being put away in warehouse. This Apple-1 was recently featured on the Pawn Stars series "Ship Happens" (Season 17, Episode 10).

The Apple-1 comes with 8K of RAM and is described as "one of the best examples of NTIs known to date". It also includes an original Apple Cassete interface, a terminal keyboard kit, a vintage video monitor, a power supply, your TV modulator, and copies of the instruction manual.

The set was restored last year by an expert, and is fully operational. It has recently been tested working eight hours straight without any failure.
