An Apple Watch for extreme sports? Bloomberg says yes

Apple Watch Steel

According to a new report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple may be considering launching an Apple Watch with a case designed to protect the watch from extreme sports. This new watch (even if only on the outside) will even be available, according to the analyst, this same year 2021. So if you are one of those who like to take the Apple Watch almost everywhere, you may be interested in this model.

Apple's Bloomberg analyst has announced in a new document that Apple may be considering launching a new Apple Watch this year, but intended for users. lovers of outdoor sports and especially extreme sports. Because it is clear that the company's watch is used for sports, but many users do not dare to use it because it is very fragile. In fact, the market is full of special cases for watches and sports.

It's not the first time that Apple considers a smartwatch with these characteristics. The company thought about releasing a model to appeal to extreme sports athletes alongside the original Apple Watch, which was released in 2015. If Apple goes ahead this time around, the rugged version would be an additional model similar to how Apple offers a choice of lower price like the SE and special editions co-branded with Nike and Hermes. Sometimes referred to as the "Explorer Edition" within Apple, the product would have the same functionality as a standard Apple Watch, but with additional impact resistance and protection in the Casio line of G-Shock watches.

The analyst dares to predict, for example, that a new device could be made more "robust" giving it a rubber casing. In this way it would be more resistant to damage.
