The truth is that these are the first three private universities that allow the use of the chip or NFC connection of the Apple Watch or iPhone to access the university. In this way, they do not need to carry any type of card or documentation on them, With Wallet it's that easy.
For a few weeks now, this has worked with some public transport cards or loyalty cards in the United States and now the possibility of accessing university campuses, libraries, gyms, etc., with the Apple device opens a new world for the students. In principle, in addition to the three aforementioned universities that already have this service active, it is expected that for next year Johns Hopkins, Santa Clara and Temple Universities will incorporate this method access for university students and teaching staff.
