Apple honors the next generation of women leaders

Yesterday was International Women's Day and Apple did not stop commemorating this special and necessary day. Also throughout the month of March has organized an event thanks to a partnership with Girls Who Code where it highlights upcoming women leaders.

Girls Who Code joins Apple's other events honoring women

These events join the rest of the winks to this International day that she made yesterday through her website and on Apple Music (highlighting the lists that some of the most influential women follow). Also with events at the Apple Store de those women entrepreneurs who use Apple devices for their daily work.

Girls Who Code is an Apple partner where the commitment of the company led by Tim Cook to education is evident. The intention is to support new programming opportunities for girls and young women in the United States.

An example is the girl on the cover of this article. Hillary Yip was 10 years old when she developed her MinorMyna language app, with which she creates an immersive online environment for her peers. She will be and will show us her art lab at Apple Causeway Bay on March 17th.

This initiative joins the existing ones. Apple Stores around the world will have events (Today At Apple) led by women and will show how they use Apple devices in their daily work. Also yesterday, March 8, you had the opportunity to win the special Apple Watch award, if you have completed a run or walk of at least 20 minutes.

Although the day chosen internationally to highlight the role of women in all areas, Apple will develop events throughout the month of March. Stay tuned to their website to see what's new.
