Apple launches watchOS 5.2.1 with ECG for Croatia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Poland and Slovakia

Apple Watch

The Cupertino company has just put in the hands of Apple Watch users the latest available version of its OS, Watch 5.2.1. In this new version, users in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Poland and Slovakia already have the ECG function and irregular rhythm notifications active.

In this case, the version is accompanied by the typical performance improvements, stability, and bug fixes detected in the previous version. No details are known beyond what has been commented and the version obviously adds support for the newly released AirPods 2.

The notes of the new version released a few minutes ago are clear and little else is detailed. This update may not appear to you right now (if you read this article at launch) but it is a matter of minutes before it appears and you can update your watch. Obviously this implementation of ECG is only for users of the Apple Watch Series 4, the rest do not have this improvement.

The download of this new version is totally free as always and to install it we need to access the app Watch> General> Software update. Once inside we have to have the watch with 50% battery or more and have it connected to the charger. The news is scarce due to the proximity of the WWDC in June in which some more changes are expected for watchOS 6, in any case if any outstanding news appears we will publish it in this same article or we will create a new one for it. If you have an Apple Watch you can now update to the latest version available.
