Apple's (PRODUCT) RED products donate $ 200 million

With a recent tweet from the CEO of Apple on his official Twitter account, the economic contribution made by Apple to continue fighting is known against the AIDS virus. This amount that Apple has managed to raise with its product line called, (PRODUCT) RED is important but it is never enough, we must continue to support the cause.

The range of devices and accessories have been available in the company's store since 2006, but over the years the Cupertino firm has been adding many more products to this product line until reach the iPhone, which for the first time we saw with the iPhone 7 And now it is also available with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, headphones, cases, straps, etc., so the sum of donations made by Apple has been greater over time.

They have managed to donate nothing more and nothing less than 200 million. This is the message that Cook himself left, with access to the press release issued by Apple to highlight the work that is being carried out, especially in countries such as Kenya and other countries:

December 1 is World AIDS Day and from Apple they will turn to donations as explained by the vice president of product marketing Greg Joswiak, in an interview for CNET and will make a donation of 1 dollar for each of the products that are purchased until next December 7. This is something that they have been doing for a long time and that at first it may seem like little money but it ends up adding a good figure to donate. In this case, it is alien to the (PRODUCT) RED donations themselves, it is an independent initiative.
