Little is missing for the Apple Watch to go on sale in Spain, or so we want. It may be that next June 8 at the inaugural Keynote of WWDC 2015 Tim Cook will share with us news regarding the apple world but also that the Apple Watch comes to us.

Although the Apple Watch It has not been put on sale in our country, we do not stop informing you of the news that is becoming known in terms of all the functionalities that it has. In this case we are going to teach you control iTunes music library by pairing it to your Mac.

Since its presentation, Apple told us that the Apple Watch was going to be very versatile and that with it we would be able to make use of thousands of applications that developers both external to Apple and Apple itself were going to make available to us. All these statements turned out to be true and as soon as the Apple Watch was put on sale There were already more than 3500 applications available that, day by day, are increasing.

Apple for its part has also achieved that the Apple Watch can be linked with our Mac to be able to do certain actions such as, for example, control the music of our existing Mac in iTunes. For this, the first thing we have to do is pair the watch to the Mac for which we will follow the following steps:

  • Have the Mac and iPhone on the same WiFi, since the Apple Watch is going to pull the WiFi from the iPhone.
  • Now we open the Remote application on the Apple Watch.
  • Once the Remote application is open, it is requested that we link a device for which we will click on «Add device».
  • Now it's the Mac's turn, for which we will enter iTunes and click on the remote control button.
  • By doing that on the Apple Watch A code of four numbers will appear that we must insert in iTunes to pair it.
  • Now you can control the playback of the songs in your iTunes library with very simple controls. Now, for now there is no possibility of doing a search for songs by name from the Apple Watch.

How is it done in Mac OS Catalina? that does not have iTunes; and in the Music app I can't find the remote control button.
