How to customize or duplicate notifications on Apple Watch

watchOS 4.1 Siri time error

In recent times we are seeing how Apple's smart watch, the Apple Watch, is marking an important path among Apple users. The watch continues to progress in sales annually and more and more people we see on the street with a watch on their wrist.

Receiving notifications is something that the watch does perfectly and that is why today we want to show how we can customize or even duplicate the notifications we receive on the Apple Watch in a simple and fast way.

Customize notifications

In this case and by default when we buy the watch, the notifications are configured to duplicate the iPhone settings and this can be configured by the user so that are more personalized or even to send us a notification twice. In this case, it is important to remember that the integrated apps are the ones that allow us to make these modifications, so let's see how to do it.

  • We access the Apple Watch application from the iPhone
  • Click on the option My watch and click on Notifications
  • We choose the application that we want to customize and that's it

Now we see that when accessing these applications, some of them offer us the possibility of changing from "Duplicate iPhone" to "Custom". When you click on the custom button in the Messages application, this appears, which we show in the following screenshot:

The options are clear and allows us to edit the notices and even repeat the receipt notification up to 10 times if we want. In any case, not all applications offer this customization, but it is interesting to know that some of them do allow it.
