It has been a year since Pandora will launch an application for the Apple Watch, so that users of this music platform can enjoy their favorite music and podcast without having to carry the iPhone, as long as we talk about the LTE model, which offers us a data connection.
The guys from Pandora have just released a new update of their application for iOS, an update that, as the details of it indicate, we can leave the phone at home to listen to our favorite music and podcast directly from our wrist and without it being linked to the iPhone.
So far, the only application that allowed us to play music via streaming from our Apple Watch LTE was Apple Music. Thanks to Apple has opened this possibility to third parties, Pandora has been the first to take advantage of it, but surely, it will not be the only one, so it is a matter of time that both Spotify, Tidal, YouTube Music and others also allow us to enjoy our favorite music and / or podcast directly from our wrist and that it is linked to the iPhone.
With WatchOS 6, this is the first step that Apple takes to make third-party applications can connect directly to the internet, so that soon, it is most likely that we can also use both Telegram or any other mail application directly from the Apple Watch with an LTE connection without our iPhone being present.
The guys from WhatsApp, they still do not launch an application for the Apple Watch, so unless Apple's openness to third-party applications to make use of the data is a reason to launch a compatible app, little or rather nothing can be expected from Mark Zuckerberg's company, beyond selling ourselves time and time again, that everything is very beautiful, that privacy comes first of all and nonsense like that to which we are accustomed until we meet another privacy problem. The Neverending Story.
