We continue to report on the characteristics of each of the models of Apple Watch And this time we bring you a video that is traveling the Internet in which a test is made to the screens of the different models of Apple Watch released in addition to the screens of other classic watches and the screen of an iPhone.

The fact is that the test is carried out with a device that what it does is give us a hardness value of the crystal but only if it is truly sapphire. What the device performs is a thermal conductivity test that in the case of that the material tested is not sapphire will not read.

The devices that have been verified in the video that we attach are an electronic watch from LG, the iPhone 6, a classic Tissot watch, a steel Apple Watch and the screen of an Apple Watch Sport. The first thing that is done in the video is to show the device that performs the measurement and explain how it does it.

To do this, all you have to do is connect it and hold it by the metal part. Later the cap is removed and the meter tip is attached to the device screen of which we want to know if it is made of sapphire crystal and how hard it is.

The first tests are made on the LG watch screen, the iPhone screen and the screen of an Apple Watch Sport. All of them give a non-existent hardness reading And it is that truly these devices do not have a sapphire screen so the device cannot perform the conductivity test.

When doing the test on the glass of the Tissot watch, we see that it does give a reading and, on top of that, the hardness reaches a level 7. Subsequently, the screen of the steel Apple Watch is tested and a reading of 8 is obtained, so we can conclude that Apple has used a very good sapphire crystal display in its steel and Edition Apple Watch.
