Is it worth jumping from the original Apple Watch to the Series 3 right now?

New Apple Watch Series 3

Recently, an iPhone X has finally arrived in my hands. It is a phone that thousands of people around the world are already using and that is reaping unsuspected success. With this model, Apple gave the starting gun to a new way of manufacturing and a new concept of security with Face ID.

However, with the iPhone X came the Apple Watch Series 3 with and without LTE. This is the first time that Apple has put an LTE version of the Apple Watch on the market in some countries, which means that it does not need the iPhone to be able to send and receive calls. It makes use of an internal eSIM that is linked to our telephony contract.

In Spain we do not yet have the possibility of having this model of Apple Watch among us and it is that Apple has not yet reached agreements with the telephone companies in this regard. However, and now I speak from a rumor, I have a colleague who assures me that in a very important business in Spain, one of his employees assures him that the Apple Watch Series 3 LTE They are already in their warehouses, that is, blocked and without being able to open the packages because Apple has not lifted the ban.

Apple Watch in the water

All this indicates that although there are no agreements in Spain, Apple has sent them and could have stock in the different distributors for when the companies give up they are put on sale immediately. Now here is my question for today ... Is it worth jumping from the original Apple Watch to the Series 3 right now?

I have an original Apple Watch, the first model that Apple put on the market. It is like new and I use it daily. Its battery has never failed or depleted and it is the envy of my partner who already asks me when I am going to inherit the original Apple Watch. I've been with him Apple Watch Series 3 without LTE, which is the one sold in Spain in the hands and it is super fluid but I think it is not the time to jump to this model. Apple may finally be preparing the big switch to a new model in September with the new iPhone after testing LTE technology in Series 3.

Have you switched to Series 3?
