There is no doubt that Gmail, Google's mail platform, along with its cloud and office applications, are one of the most used in the world. And, since they are quite simple, in addition to being quite intuitive, they earn this a lot. However, perhaps the biggest problem is the fact that there are no separate apps for macOS, as this is something that bothers quite a few users.

Apparently, in order to have the email somewhat more organized, to find what you are looking for quickly, have created a new feature, which are filters. Basically, it consists in that you will be able to filter the emails that you have received in your Gmail or Google Cloud account by the date on which they were received, in which you have previously opened, depending on whether Google has marked them as important, by their attachments, and finally whether you have previously marked them as featured on your own.
However, the interesting thing about this is that you can apply them selectively at the same time, so if for example you want to see the most important emails, but only those you received yesterday and that contained attachments, you can do so without any problem, among many other possible combinations.
Part of the problem with previous approaches is that they forced users to use these fixed views of their inbox. If you archived an email, suddenly you couldn't find it easily. If you only saw emails marked by Google as important, you always knew you were missing things and would have to go look for them in the "not important" email.
