Kuo: Apple Watch Series 8 with body temperature measurement

Apple Watch new size

The rumor of the insertion of a new sensor that is capable of measuring body temperature in the Apple Watch is already taking color. According to analyst Kuo, the next Series 8 of the American company's watch will be able to house a new sensor capable of measuring this parameter in our bodies. But it is complicated, since the watch is on the wrist and it is not a very reliable link to be able to take records that are considered reliable. But it is predicted that Apple will get it, since it almost was in the current Series 7.

One of the rumors that circulated most strongly before the Apple Watch Series 7 was released was the possibility of incorporating a sensor capable of measuring body temperature. What happened, according to analysts, especially what Ming-Chi Kuo says, is that the company could not implement it due to a problem with the algorithm. Is clear. Taking into account that the temperature measurement is not on the wrist, and the Apple Watch is placed on it, those of the company have to do a very important engineering and programming work.

This is how Kuo explains it, in a thread posted through his Twitter account.

Apple canceled body temperature measurement for Apple Watch Series 7 because the algorithm did not qualify before entering the EVT stage last year. I believe that the Apple Watch Series 8 in 2H22 could take body temperature if the algorithm can meet Apple's high requirements before mass production.

It seems that the predictions of this analyst who has a high success rate, although it does not coincide with what was exposed by Bloomberg but with others. So we must be clear, which is more than likely the Apple Watch Series 8, let's have a new sensor responsible for measuring the body temperature that tells us so much.
