It is true that new rumors arise every day about the Apple smart watch and its possible second version. These rumors cover a lot of possible options, so much to say that the guys from Cupertino will present it next March, to deny them through reports or even add the replacement program for users who want to upgrade to the new model when Apple launches it. All this remains to this day an unknown that not so much time left to solve.

Leaving aside all this rumors about whether we will see the new model soon or not, what is clear is that the company is still looking for biomedical engineers to increase measurement possibilities and options the next Apple Watch to hit the market.

It is not necessary to comment that Apple already has numerous engineers working on the next generation of the watch, but they are still looking for and hiring biomedical engineers to improve the next wrist device. At the moment one of those recently hired to work on the project is Craig Slyfield, mechanical engineer and co-author of numerous investigations related to the measurement and visualization of human bones in 3D or Anne Shelchuk, who has a doctorate in biomedical engineering and He previously worked at an ultrasound software company for medical purposes.

What is evident is that Apple's engineering workforce continues to increase and with this it is expected that improve current and future devices but in this sense the improvements are directly related to the watch sensors. Improvements can also be implemented directly on the straps or similar, something that has already been discussed in several places and we cannot rule it out either, but the health sensors are right now the starting point for improvement of the following versions of the watch.
