The Cupertino company usually makes changes beyond the presentations themselves on the website and in this case hours after the official arrival of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro model we realize that the prices of the Loop and Sport straps have lowered their price from 59 to 49 euros.
In addition to this reduction in price, the company adds several new colors in the sport model and (PRODUCT) RED in the Loop model. Undoubtedly these colors are the least in a news that really emphasizes the decrease of 10 euros in the price of the straps, both 40 and 44mm.
The prices of these straps right now are as we say at 49 euros and although it is true it is not a big discount, it is a good start in the case of Apple and original straps. This is thus a launch of new colors for discounted belts. The proximity of the Christmas campaign and possibly Apple's interest in achieving higher sales have promoted this reduction in the sale price to the public.
It is true that we have a lot of supply of third party straps and straps copying the original Apple ones in the network, but logically these straps do not resemble more than in design the original Apple ones, although it is true that they do their job correctly and I personally have more than one that is not original Apple. Hopefully this trend to lower and even hold the prices despite being new models (as we have seen with the 16-inch MacBook Pros) continues.
