Opera for macOS adds access to Twitter from the sidebar

New version of Opera browser with Twitter included

A couple of months ago the Opera browser for macOS added the functionality of a shortcut to Instagram. Now with the new update, number 69, Twitter has been incorporated to the sidebar in order to give more direct and easy access to its users. This way, anyone using Opera on their Mac can check Twitter without having to open a new window.

After Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, Twitter comes to the sidebar of the Opera browser for macOS. In its new version, the number 69, ya we won't have to open a new window to go to consult the messages sent through the social network Twitter, direct messages or simply consult the TimeLine of our account.

It was a matter of this feature being incorporated. After adding the Facebook Family social networks, the blue bird sings along with the Opera browser and it works really well. All we have to do is click on the Twitter icon and sign up with our account (or the account with which we want to operate). From there, we will have immediate access to the most common functions that we usually use in this social network.

Opera and Twitter

This latest version of Opera it also includes new features such as:

  • A new weather widget on the home page.
  • The visual and functional improvement of switch between tabs
  • Workspace improvements, allowing users to group tabs according to the context in which they are used.

The usual functions of the Opera browser, they're still existing. Let's remember for example that it provides us with unique features that are not normally found in other major browsers. For example, it comes with a built-in ad blocker and tracking blocker, free browser VPN, and Crypto Wallet.
