Pandora launches an application for the Apple Watch

A couple of years ago, many were the big ones like Amazon, eBay or Google itself who They stopped offering compatibility of their applications with the Apple Watch, since it did not suppose any additional advantage to what they already offered from the mobile. But as Apple's smartwatch has evolved, its functionality has increased.

Since Apple launched the Apple Watch Series 4, more and more platforms are they are betting heavily on it. A few weeks ago, Spotify launched the long-awaited application for the Apple Watch. Now it's Pandora, the leading music streaming service in the United States, who has just jumped on the bandwagon.

With the launch of this new version, all users of this streaming music service can control the playback of their favorite music from their wrist, but also, if we are subscribers of the service we can also download songs directly to our Apple Watch, to be able to go for a run or go to the gym while listening to our favorite music without the iPhone.

In this sense, Pandora has been ahead of Spotify, since the Swedish streaming music platform leading worldwide, still does not allow us to download music on our device, functionality that shouldn't take long to arrive.

Although it is true that Pandora is only available in the United States, the company they want to expand to other countries and at the moment there is no better way to do it than through an interesting update for the Apple Watch, an update that the company claims will also be coming soon to Wear OS adding the same functionality.

The only requirement for this update is to have watchOS 5 in our Apple Watch, being the umpteenth application that, in order to offer us new functions, requires the latest version of watchOS available.
