Schedule apps for the Apple Watch with Xamarin

xamarin

Although I was not disappointed with the Keynote this Monday, I have not been very satisfied with what they are supposed to have presented in relation to the Apple Watch. From my point of view Apple has advanced the launch of the new MacBook to the Keynote on March 9 because you couldn't really fill an event with the presentation of the features that are supposed to have been prepared for her from the Apple Watch.

We all had our sights set on the abundant news that they were going to give us about the Apple Watch in addition to the date it was put on sale in our country. Already on the network, weeks before the event, Apple had invited application developers outside of Apple to their own laboratories so that their applications were finished for this event. Nevertheless, everything that surrounded the Apple Watch was devoid of content and passion.

I love you, but I expected more from the last Keynote. I am no longer talking about being surprised with a new product but rather reporting the one that they have not yet put on sale. With the Apple Watch they limited themselves to reviewing certain features, give the battery life data and do a somewhat boring review of applications.

Well, after giving my impression of the event, I inform you that if you are an application developer or want to start in this world and make use of Xamarín, it has supported the development of applications for this new watch.

Xamarin has announced that it begins to provide support for developers to create applications for the Apple Watch. If this is the first time you hear about this programming environment, what you can do to start is download Xcode 6.2. Then you must Update Xamarin.iOS to the latest version, then update Xamarin Studio or the Xamarin extension for Visual Studio and finally access the file menu and create an application for the Appel Watch.
