One of the novelties of watchOS is the arrival of sleep mode and if you are one of those who leaves the watch charging at night with this option active you will have noticed that the screen brightness goes up to maximum to wake you up.
In any case this cannot be modified and Apple implemented it in the latest available version of the software. So when the first alarm sounds on your iPhone or Apple Watch (as long as they are sharing the alarm options and you do not have it on your wrist) in this mode you will see that the screen increases the brightness to the maximum.
How to set Sleep on Apple Watch
The options are several and it will depend on whether you are one of those who does not remove the watch to sleep or who leaves it charging on the table. Whatever your decision, the watch has several configuration options in Sleep mode and you can do it in the following way:
- Open the Sleep app on Apple Watch
- Follow the onscreen instructions and set the alarm
On the other hand, it is possible to open the Health app on the iPhone, which is the place where this editing option is now (before it was in Alarms) and press Explore> Sleep> Start (in Configure the Sleep function). Among these options we do not find any that allow us to adjust the intensity of the brightness in the alarm and it would be good to be able to activate this option or not. Let's see if the next version Apple takes it into account and allows us to make this adjustment, for now if you leave it charging with this mode activated to wake up with a softer alarm you will have to hold on with full brightness on the watch during that time until you stop the alarm.
