Adoption of Apple Watch Series 3 grows while that of Series 0 decreases

The Series 3 is the most modern and fastest model of Apple Watch currently available on the market and it seems that it has become the push that Apple's smartwatch needed to become a benchmark in the industry, at least that's what most analysts seem to say.

Analysts base their reports on multiple sources and market research, which in most cases they seem very far from reality. To try to get rid of doubts, the developer David Smith has created a graph about the devices that use his Pedometer ++ application.

In this graph, we can see how since its arrival on the market, the Apple Watch Series 3 has been becoming, month after month, the most used Apple Watch model, surpassing all its predecessors. According to this graph, 33% of the Apple Watch that use this application correspond to the Series 3, while the Apple Watch represents 30%, when before the launch of the Series 3 it represented almost 45%.

This graph suggests that the majority of Series 0 users, You have renewed your device for the Series 3, since this latest model offers enough new features and functions, as well as a substantial improvement in speed, compared to the first generation model, a model that with each new update becomes a little slower.

Smith says it is more than likely that Apple does not offer support for watchOS 5 on Series 0, whose percentage of users reaches 25%. The Apple Watch Series 0 hit the market in March 2015 and with each new update, the difference in performance of the new models with the original has been gradually increasing, as expected, turning the original model into a device with which we can receive notifications and sometimes respond to them, little else.
