The watchOS 6.1 beta seems to improve the autonomy of the Series 5

Apple Watch Series 5

Much is said about the enormous battery consumption that users of the new Apple Watch Series 5 are suffering and although it is true not all users are noticing this high consumption, it seems that there are quite a few users who complain. Logically the version of watchOS 6.0.1 does not seem to improve this great battery consumption too much but the version that is currently in beta in the hands of the developers does, version 6.1 of the system.

Apple Watch Series 5

It is not something that affects all users of the new Series 5

And is that high battery consumption is not something that is directly affecting all users of the brand new Apple Watch Series 5. A few days ago in a podcast of #todoapple we asked the first and lucky owners of these devices and the responses were quite disparate. Bad news always comes out online, we rarely find positive news about the operation of a product when we start looking, but it is true that there are complaints in this regard with the autonomy of the watch.

What is being said is that the always-on screen may be the main cause and now Apple is already working to fix the problem with new versions of software. In this case watchOS 6.1 would be in the line of improving autonomy of the new watches and possibly with the passage of days, weeks and months as discussed in 9to5mac. This autonomy has to reach the optimum point that Apple indicates on its own website that it is approximately 18 hours, we go a whole day. What seems obvious is that solutions are being worked on and this problem may be solved during the following versions of the software.
