AppleCare + accidental damage coverage for Mac extends to more countries, although it has not yet reached Spain

AppleCare

As you may already know, for some time in countries like the United States, some of the AppleCare plans also cover additional damage to products, such as damage caused by liquids, or physical damage that occurs , something that was most interesting when it appeared, but nevertheless did not quite like the fact that it was quite limited by countries.

That is why, for a few days, although Apple has not made an official announcement for it, and countries such as Spain are not yet part of the official list in which it is available, a multitude of countries have been added where you can purchase AppleCare + plans for Macs that also cover so-called accidental damage.

Apple Expands List of Countries Where AppleCare + Covers Accidental Damage for Macs

Apparently, with the launch of the new products at Keynote on October 30 in Brooklyn, the list of countries in which AppleCare + covers additional damage to Macs has also expanded, and to countries where this was previously available, the following are added:

  • Austria
  • France
  • Germany
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Netherlands
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Norway
  • Switzerland
  • United Arab Emirates
  • United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • Mexico

As you can see, the list of countries added is quite extensive, and seeing that a large part of the countries are part of Europe, it would not be surprising if it soon began to arrive in Spain.

If you live in one of these countries, and are interested in purchasing this additional AppleCare + protection, you can either when buying a new Mac in the Apple Store online, in an official store, or in an authorized reseller, or if you have already bought your Mac and did not include it during the purchase, You have 60 days from the date of purchase to add protection to it.

If this second is your case, you can do it from the Apple website, or go to an authorized store or distributor, although you must bear in mind that, for logical reasons, it will be necessary that do a little check on your Mac, both physically and internally, in order to confirm whether or not you are suitable for this program.
