If you are thinking about buying a Mac mini, the best thing to do right now is that you wait to do it. The main reason is that the Cupertino company launched the renovation of this small but powerful team last October 2018 and therefore this year I could be thinking of renewing some of the internal components of the team and who knows if even a small redesign in general.
There are really no rumors right now about this news and many of you may think that Apple will not launch any changes on these Mac mini, this may be so and it may not. Actually it is not necessary that we have rumors to see a change in these teams and it is that if they are only renewed inside with more powerful and current hardware it may be next month.
The cycles in these Mac mini are not like in the rest of the Mac range
The Mac mini has its own update cycles and we can say that these are not computers that are renewed every year like the MacBook Pro or even the new MacBook Air. At Apple we are accustomed to less frequent changes with this desktop computer, but we cannot rule out changes when the year since its launch approaches.
As we say there are currently no clear indications about the possible renewal of these Mac mini, their power is really brutal in the highest-end models and we will not be short if we decide to configure the equipment to our liking. What happens is that when October arrives you have to "lift your ears" and control the steps to buy any of these equipment that are in their first year on the market. We will be attentive to see if there really are news and especially regarding rumors of possible renewal, which at the moment do not appear.
With my "ears up" I am but I am very afraid that this October will be no.
