We continue the afternoon of updates with the official release of iOS 9.1 for all devices and obviously watchOS 2.0.1 for Apple Watch. In this case, it is about making the watch compatible with iOS devices and that is why every time an official version of iOS is released, it will be necessary to update the Apple Watch. This is something that does not bother us at all, rather the opposite, and the improvements in this new version are related to battery consumption or the synchronization of our clock with the iPhone.
It seems that watchOS 2.0 had some bugs that have been corrected in this new version released by Apple today afternoon:
- Fixes an issue that could cause software updates to crash
- Addresses issues that were negatively impacting battery performance
- Resolves an issue that prevented a managed iPhone from syncing iOS calendar events to Apple Watch
- Fixes an issue that could cause location information to not update correctly
- Fixes an issue that could cause digital touch to send an email address instead of a phone number
- Fixes an issue that could cause instability when using a Live Photo as a sphere
- Resolves an issue that allows sensors to stay on indefinitely when using Siri to measure pulse
Now we have the new operating system available and remember that to update it is as simple as accessing the Watch app> General> Software update. As in all updates, we recommend installing the new version on your Apple Watch as soon as possible.
