watchOS 4 celebrates our birthday with a curious animation

The main attraction that the use of a wearable can have for many people are notifications, notifications that prevent us from having to remove the iPhone from our pocket every time it rings or vibrates. On the Apple Watch, access to notifications is very successful and thanks to the integration with the iPhone we can interact with most of them, as long as the developer has updated them to watchOS. Apple has always been characterized by being very detailed in all its products, but not only in them, but also in the large number of options it offers us when configuring our device, especially for people with accessibility problems.

The last detail that has been discovered in the next version of watchOS is the animated notification that is shown on our device when our birthday is celebrated, a notification that will fill the screen with balloons regardless of which application we are in. Upon receiving the notification, which in this case has not yet been translated into Spanish, with the message Happy Birthday next to our name, the Apple Watch screen will fill with balloons. In the video above you can see how this notification works.

The images at the top of this article are from our colleague Luis Padilla, who a few days ago celebrated his birthday and was able to see first-hand this new detail that the guys from Cupertino have added to watchOS 4. At the moment, most of the news that we are seeing with watchOS 4 are related to aesthetics operating system, leaving aside the new functions that all users could expect from a new version of the operating system for wearable devices from Apple.
