Will Apple launch an Apple Watch with LTE?

There are several rumors that speak of the launch of a new watch before the end of the year and one of the rumors that they plan these weeks refers to the possibility that the new device adds LTE connectivity, which would make the Apple Watch a practically autonomous device.

And is that today this device needs the iPhone to perform most of the tasks despite having 8GB of internal memory. With this new Apple Watch that according to Bloomberg would see the light before the end of the year the user will be able to leave the iPhone at home peacefully since it would even be possible make calls or receive notifications.

It is not clear if Apple will launch an Apple Watch with LTE this year or wait until 2018, but it is clear that the bet for the future is leave aside the need to have the iPhone on top to use the clock. This is something that we have been warning for some time and if we look at some iPad models they already have their own integrated Apple SIM although they could also opt for the more standardized eSIM, and this is not anything new on the market either.

In addition to the new model with LTE, Apple may modify the design of the watch as well John Gruber warned a few days ago, but this is something that is carried with a lot of top secret in Apple and that is that there is not a single leak about this supposed new design for the watch. Remember that we have been with this same design since 2015 (changing the construction materials) despite the fact that the internal specifications of the Apple Watch have been modified by adding water resistance, speaker and microphone or improvements in its processor among other internal improvements.

Could it be that this year we will see a new Apple Watch with LTE?
