Apple just released the second beta of watchOS 5.1.3. for developers. It may be the last watchOS beta of the year, and it hopes to polish the characteristic errors of an already advanced beta such as 5.1.3.

This release occurs just a week after the first beta of 5.1.3 and exactly two weeks ago from the final version of watchOS 5.1.2. remind you that to have access to the download it is necessary to have well configured from the Developer Center Apple the appropriate profile. After this step, the new update can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch application on the iPhone, accessing General - software update.

The other requirement to install the update on the Apple Watch is to have at least the 50% battery on the Apple device. Remember that the Apple Watch and the iPhone must be close to send the corresponding update.

So far the characteristics of the update have not been described, but in principle a version 5.1.3 should be aimed at the error correction detected by users and reported to Apple to improve system stability. In any case, if we discover something new in the next few hours, we will keep you informed.

We are currently waiting to know the progress of the ECG function all over the world. This option is only available on the Apple Watch Series 4 and allows you to perform an EKG in seconds by simply placing your finger on the crown. This function appeared in Watch 5.1.2 but governments must authorize their use. To date, only in the US is it possible to activate the function and we hope that governments will authorize it throughout 2019.

Apple remains focused on devices that make it easier for us to measure our health condition. The first was the Apple Watch with the pulse measurement and alerts if it detects that the pulse is racing. Recently there have been rumors about sensors in the AirPods 2 to take vital sign measurements and alert the user if a problem is detected.
