Apple withdraws support for Windows 7 in BootCamp Assistant for the new Mac Pro

Although Windows 7 is not the last of the last in terms of operating systems, I at least I still consider it fully topical and more knowing the 'cold' reception that Windows 8 and its later version 8.1 have had among users. What I do not quite understand has been this move by Apple to withdraw support for Windows 7 in the BootCamp assistant for the new Mac Pro.

According to a group of independent developers on Mac with the nickname Twocanoes, it was learned that Apple had in mind to withdraw said support and it is now that within the documentation attached to the BootCamp assistant for Mac Pro it has been seen that the possibility of installing Windows 7 on the new Mac Pro has been effectively discarded.

In this situation there will be different professionals who will be forced to migrate your systems to Windows 8, virtualize through programs such as Parallels, some version of Windows 7 or directly choose to have to choose a different Mac for this. On the other hand, the Windows 8 interface is clearly focused on touch screens with a large part of the system designed for this purpose, which has made many companies and users of all kinds have denied this version as I told you before.

I do not understand this obligation to install Windows 8 or a later version very well and more so on a computer such as Mac Pro that does not integrate no touch screen in itself, as if a future iMac for example or portable systems with that capacity could do it.

Even so, Apple has been characterized by ceasing to support very early to Microsoft systems, at least in their previous versions. Recall that when the second generation of the MacBook Air came out, Windows XP and Vista were no longer supported in BootCamp for all computers.
