If you have a Mac, you can now play an AAA game on it like God intended. This is the latest release of the well-known saga of Resident Evil horror video games: Resident Evil Village. The only downside is that this Mac must be from the new generation of computers Apple silicon.

So if you have a Mac with an M1 or M2 processor, you can now enjoy Resident evil village. And have a great time, since it uses the new Apple Metal 3 graphics engine that macOS Ventura incorporates.

It seems that Apple is finally going to solve its pending issue that had been suspended forever with Macs: That they were not capable of moving a AAA game with 3D rendered graphics. Resident Evil Village proves it.

Capcom It has just launched a new installment (the eighth) of its popular Resident Evil horror video game saga: Resident Evil Village. It would be one more in the saga if it weren't for the fact that it's been rewritten specifically for Macs.

The game is rated under the AAA game category. It was first developed for PlayStation 5 y Xbox Series X, and now, it is also available for macOS.

Your requirements are simple. Have an Apple Silicon Mac, (with M1 or M2 processor) and that has macOS Ventura installed. This is because it is based on Apple's new graphics engine for 3D video games, Metal 3 y MetalFX.

The necessary drivers to run said graphics engine are only included in macOS is coming. And for it to work smoothly, it is only possible by using the power of the M1 processors onwards. So if your Mac is based on an Intel processor, you can forget about this game, no matter how much macOS Ventura you have installed on it.

Resident Evil Village is now available on the Mac App Store by 47,99 Euros. and that said, only available for Apple Silicon.
