Pixelmator Pro now supports macOS Mojave dark and light theme

In recent years, we have seen how the Pixelmator tool has evolved exponentially and has become for many users the perfect replacement for the all-powerful Photoshop. In the Mac App Store we have at our disposal two versions of this tool: Pixelmator and Pixelmator Pro, the latter being the version with more functions and that takes full advantage of Apple's Metal technology.

One of the main novelties that the latest version of macOS has brought us, baptized as Mojave, is found in the dark theme, a dark theme that takes care of darken both the application interface and the menu bar and the Dock. But it does not work magic and if the applications are not compatible with this function, no matter how much we have the dark mode set, the interface will remain the same.

Pixelmator Pro has just been updated to add compatibility with this function, a function that will surely be appreciated by all those users who have never gotten used to the black interface that the application has always shown, both in the Pro and in the normal version.

But this is not the only novelty that we found in the latest update of the application, since it also offers us the option to perform quick actions, to be able to perform previously programmed actions automatically, a function very similar to the one currently offered by the Siri shortcuts that have come from the hand of iOS 12.

Another novelty that this update brings us can be found in the compatibility with SVG fonts, a necessity for many designers and that until now was not compatible with the Pro version of Pixelmator.

Pixelmator Pro has a usual price of 64,99 euros but for a few weeks, we can get it at half price, for only 32,99 euros.
