As the days go by, little by little Some of the news that have surrounded the launch of the new generation of iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch are being confirmed last September 10th. On the one hand, we find that the RAM memory of the new iPhone is exactly the same as that found in the previous generation, 4 GB.
On the other hand, an aspect that draws especially attention is that the processor that mounts the Apple Watch Series 5 is exactly the same that we can find in the Series 4. It draws attention because so far, Apple had not used the same processor in two different generations of Apple Watch.
Steve Troughon, application developer, states that the processor of the Apple Watch Series 5 is the same as the previous generation, like the graph, so the only changes we can find are the compass and the internal storage size, which has increased to 32 GB. If you were concerned about the performance of your Series 4 compared to the Series 5, you can forget about it.
According to Xcode, Apple Watch Series 5 has the same generation CPU / GPU as the Apple Watch Series 4; I guess the only changes are a gyro and 32GB of NAND? The plus side of that is that we won't have to worry about watchOS being slower on the Series 4 than on a brand new model

Rumors prior to the launch of this new generation already suggested that Apple could use the same processor in the Series 5 as in the model it launched last year. Everything seems to indicate that Apple has wanted to focus on other areas, in order to reach a greater number of potential customers, hence new finishes have been launched, instead of adding changes to the design or adding new functions.
