If yesterday they released new betas of the latest test versions of current software (see the fifth beta of macOS Monterey 12.5 in the case of Macs), today they are going to release a new beta of the future macOS Ventura.
So just half an hour ago, Apple has released for all developers the third beta of macOS 13 Ventura, this year's new macOS that was unveiled at WWDC 2022 and will be released to all users this fall.
Only two weeks after the second beta of macOS Ventura was released in Cupertino, the third beta was released just an hour ago, for all developers who want to try it out.
These registered developers can now download the third beta through the Apple Developer Center and, once the proper profile is installed, beta versions will become available through the software update mechanism in System Preferences.
A Ventura loaded with novelties
macOS Ventura comes loaded with a lot of new features that will undoubtedly be of great pleasure to users. One of them is Internship Manager, a new feature that allows users to focus on one task while keeping other apps ready for easy switching between tasks. Continuity Camera is also included, so you can use iPhone as a webcam for your Mac.
It also includes Handoff for FaceTime so you can transfer calls between iPhone, iPad, and Mac at will, and now Messages supports features to mark an iMessage as unread, stop sending an iMessage, and mark as unread. SharePlay now also works in the Messages app.
Application Email supports scheduling and deleting emails up to 10 seconds after they're sent, and Weather and Clock apps are now available on the Mac. System Preferences has been renamed System Settings and has an iOS-like layout , very different from the traditional Macs.
