This week seems the definitive one for the arrival of Apple Pay to Germany

A few weeks ago we echoed a news story stating that Apple's wireless payments technology, Apple Pay, was about to arrive in the country, as Tim Cook had announced months ago. But finally, the launch did not occur and he only limited himself to adding the words "Coming Soon" on the Apple Pay website in the country.

On this occasion, to see if it is true because the issue has begun to tire, according to Macerkopf, citing different sources related to the banking market, the announcement of the arrival of Apple Pay in Germany it could happen tomorrow tuesday. This information is partially confirmed by a tweet, now deleted from one of the banks that will offer them initially.

According to the deleted tweet from Fidor Bank, Apple Pay could land in the country later this week. Together with Boon, Bunq, ComDirect, Endered, Hanseatic Bank, N26 and O2 Banking, Fidor will be the first banks and card issuers to initially offer Apple's wireless payment technology in the country.

Card issuers have been negotiating with Apple for more than a year about the company's fees for each transaction, the only benefit Apple gets through Apple Pay, but which on a large scale it can become all the benefits of a bank.

On the other hand, we find banks that are increasingly pressured by the public to support the different payment options through mobile, whether based on NFC technology or others such as Apple Pay.

Currently, the countries where Apple Pay is available are: Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Isle of Man, Guirney, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Norway, New Zealand, Russia, Poland, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vatican City.
